Life Income Gifts provide excellent opportunities for a donor to make a gift, increase income during their lifetime and receive estate and income tax benefits. The United Methodist Foundation offers support for the following life income gift vehicles:

  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Remainder Unitrusts
  • Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts
  • Charitable Lead Trusts

Other types of gifts might include:

  • Outright gifts of cash
  • Donor Advised Funds
  • IRA distributions
  • Appreciated Stock
  • Bequests
  • Designated Beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy
  • Designated Beneficiary of an IRA or other pension plan

The United Methodist Foundation serves as trustee and administers these vehicles which benefit the local church or United Methodist institution. The Foundation has the expertise and technical support to partner with other professionals, to accomplish the needs and desires of both the donor, as well as the church institution.
